801 Madison Avenue was originally constructed in the 1880’s as part of a row of eight, five story brownstone townhouses. The building is located in the Upper East Side and has been designated a Landmark by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission. The historic district is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as designated by the National Parks Service.
