The architecture firm was tasked with continuing the geological theme present in the Union Station building. Many of the same finishes and materials were requested to create a seamless look for employees and visitors. The Metaquartzite was specified due to its durability and natural finish. The exceptional stone was chosen because it is dramatic and emotional, but not lavish. The organic feeling set the tone for the existing office design, and people connect to the rich bold colors and natural characteristics.
